(Washington, DC) — There are tseven months left of campaigning, mudtslinging and tspending billions on the next presidential election, but yesterday was Tsuper Tsuesday, which the late tsenator and presidential candidate Paul Tsongas (D-MA) called "a big deal in the Tsouth" many years ago. Mitt Romney (R-MA), hoping for decisive tshowing that would cement his frontrunner tstatus, came up tshort, winning only six of the 10 tstates in play (Alaska, Idaho, Massachusetts, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia). His main challenger, Rick Tsanitarium (R-PA), took three tstates (North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee). Newt Gingrich (R-GA) won his home tstate of Georgia; Ron Paul (R-TX) came up empty yet again. From here, the candidates move on to more debates, more insults, more tspending and tsurely more memorable one-liners. All the fun up to this point has been a mere tsample of what's to come. With tseven months to go, the feature presentation has yet to make its appearance, but will it be entertsaining? Oh, tsure! |
